2-DAY TOUR TO SAINT-LOUIS

DAY 1 : DAKAR / THIES / SAINT-LOUIS
Leave Dakar in the morning for Saint-Louis. Visit on the way the town of Thies with its huge market rich of African Fabrics and medicinal herbs. Also visit the art tapestries manufactory famous all around the world. Visit of typical villages across the countryside. Arrival in Saint-Louis at noon and lunch will be taken at the hotel Coumba Bang or Similar. At 4 :00pm leave the hotel and visit the historical city Saint-Louis. The visit will take you to the Governor’s palace, to the Faidherbe square, the radio station, the ‘’Ndar Toute’’

Market place. Visit by horse drawn carriage of the typical and picturesque district of Guet Ndar visit of the fishermen cemetery bordered by the fishing nets of the fish drying sheds. Return to your hotel late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at hotel Coumba Bang or similar.

DAY 2 : SAINT-LOUIS / DJOUDJ OR LANGUE DE BARBARIE
SAINT- LOUIS / DAKAR
Leave your hotel after breakfast for this Tour that will make you discover the bird sanctuaries in the surrounding of Saint-Louis. By bus and motor canoe, you will view the various types of birds making of these sites a Paradise of ornithology : Pelicans, egrets, flamingos, fishing eagles,... etc will quite parade under your eyes in a wild and wonderful nature. Lunch on the spot. Afternoon departure for Dakar visiting traditional villages and weekly markets on the way. Arrival in Dakar in the afternoon.
